Vick may accept plea deal
The other two charged with crimes related to the dog fighting have decided to make plea deals, allowing them to testify against Vick. He has until Friday to accept a plea deal or face additional federal charges.
ESPN - Likely alone facing charges, Vick weighs options
Re: Vick may accept plea deal
They were saying its like 95% certainty he's toast if he doesn't. They have mountains of evidence all over him...
Re: Vick may accept plea deal
I wonder what kind of penalties he is looking at if he accepts a plea.
Jail time I hope.
Re: Vick may accept plea deal
Never thought I'd ever say I regret trading Tim Dwight, former Sqwak to San Diego for the upgrade to #1 draft pick in order to guarantee Vick. Wasn't Brees drafted in the same draft? Must say I'd rather have Brees behind center now, considering it's more and more likely each day that passes that Vick will never take another snap in a Falcons jersey ever again. My wife and I wish we could go back and have our engagement pics from a year and a half ago retaken so we're not wearing our Vick jerseys in them...

In that other thread, it didn't look to me like Snoopy, Astro, and Scooby Doo would be satisfied with some rinky dink plea bargain. In fact, Snoopy looks like he is ready to pull out a 9 mm and finish the deal right there...

Ouch.
Re: Vick may accept plea deal
I'm surprised they are even offering a plea bargain since if this goes to trial I'm pretty sure he'd be convicted.

You wore football jerseys in your engagement pictures? I had to wear a silly sweater that she picked out.

DING DING: I feel you there. Basically it was "I'm coming over to look through your clothes. Make sure they're cleaned and hung up."
Re: Vick may accept plea deal
The chargers got both Tominlson (1st round) and Brees (2nd round) out of that draft and the Falcons got Vick......hmmm I wonder who got the better of that deal?
Re: Vick may accept plea deal
Yeah, I suffered the same engagement photos. Years later and many ISU games under our belts, it would sure be fun to turn back time and do some engagement shots, ISU style!
Perhaps we should have a CF ISU photoshoot day!
My favorite photo in the world...

Re: Vick may accept plea deal
We had 3 engagement varieties done - one with me in a shirt and tie, one with me in a Nautica button-down shirt and jeans, and one in the Falcons jerseys. The Falcons jerseys have a special story that goes along with it (she stole my football jersey to think of me while my family and I were visiting family in New York, I bought her her own while in NY hoping she'd give it back to me, and instead she ended up with both) and was the one we used for the newspapers. I can upload them later when I get home.
Re: Vick may accept plea deal
Vick appears to be in considerably more trouble than just the dog fighting indictment
