Coach Fennelly on radio/Bud tent today at 3

He will be there live, if anyone is going out to the fair...at the Bud Tent at 3. Also on the air at 1460 KXNO

I had a brief chat with him on the phone setting this up...what a great personality. It's not hard to see why ISU's program is as good as it is.

live in person? at the Bud tent? wow...thats quite the punishment for him since he is sober now..especially with no Nat Ice Light there

. Should be a great interview though.

it is ironic that he's at the Bud tent...but also sarcastic that there is no Nat Ice Light, but serious when I say it should be a good interview

I think you are confusing Coach Fennelly with Coach Eustachy.

Don't worry, it's a common mistake.

How is Coach Fennelly being at the Bud tent ironic? Did he have a problem with alcohol that I don't know about? Seriously confused by this thread.

Ummm...Bill Fennelly...WBB coach at ISU that was just given a life contract...

You'll have to help me out here...why is it ironic that he is at the Bud tent? I don't recall any incidents involving BF and Bud/Nat Ice Light.

Are you sure you don't have an issue with Nat Ice Light???

Fennelly is the coach of the ISU basketball program and has never had any problems with alcohol to the best of my knowledge.

Former ISU men's basketball coach Eustachy did have problems with alcohol, yet I doubt he'll be spotted at the Iowa State Fair.

excuse my large mistake, I glanced while at work, then downsized my window and failed to read more, I know excuses are like... you know. you can put the dunce cap on me and sit me in the corner, i got Eustachy in my head and couldnt get it out.

I think what made me really respect Fennelly is what he said at the half time game against Georgia last year when he basically said that he didn't think they could even get back into the game but that they were going to give 110% to the very end because the cyclone faithful deserve it. He also said how proud he was of everyone's effort and that they were just flat out outmatched.
