Peter King's NFL Dreamteams
Four of the SI.com writers were asked to put together three different dreamteams for their sports - an all-time team, an all-current team and an all-future team (built to win in 5 years).
Here are the NFL versions, selected by Peter King. All-time NFL team All-current NFL team All-future NFL team

Re: Peter King's NFL Dreamteams
As a Packers fan his whole all-time team is a joke with out one Mr. Barry Sanders. Without him it's not a real team. He was simply the best ever.

Re: Peter King's NFL Dreamteams
How is Kellen Winslow on there? Is there a different one or something? Also, how could you not put Champ Bailey into consideration for all time fantasy team. On KXNO yesterday they said that he was only thrown at 36 times last year and 10 of those were INT's. Thats better than a 1 in 4 chance you're going to throw a pick to him.
Also, how the heck is Mike Furrey on the current all league team? He's not even a #1 on his own team?

Champ Bailey IS on the current team, if you noticed. The All-Time team, he has a lot more to accomplish than a few good years for that, IMO

How else can you be measured? He's dominated his whole career. NFL players only get 10-12 prime years on average.

And Winslow had a dad that played in the NFL, I'm pretty sure.

I'm glad to see Rod Woodson made it as a reserve. He was the best football player I ever saw live. Iowa was at Purdue in the early 80s and beat Purdue pretty handily, but Woodson completely shut down one side of the field when the hawks had the Toolbox at QB and returned kicks at will, it seemed like. Amazing athlete.

Re: Peter King's NFL Dreamteams
Wow!!!! Reggie Bush as a back up Running Back already. He doesn't even get 15 touches a game. What a waste of time putting him in there. He should've been on the future team. I'm tired of the Reggie hype. When he starts running the ball 20 plus times a game, then I'll listen to the hype.

Agreed - there's no way that Jones-Drew and Bush are CURRENT all timers...future, for sure they could be, but both share the load. For current, I'd have put LdT of course, and Larry Johnson (even with the holdout right now) because LJ is the other RB currently that all teams are looking for, a between the tackles, break away back that can run it 25-30 times a game, and he's got over 3600 yds the last two years, and he's only 27. Then I'd put S Jackson from STL as a back up on the current team, along with S Alexander.
The one year or less guys need to be on the futures team.

Lombardi isn't a coach on the all-time team? I would have to disagree with that one. -
Re: Peter King's NFL Dreamteams
I'm a huge Furrey fan ... but come-on ... come-ooooonnn
MJD, Bush AND Mangold (rook- center for the Jets in 07) are going to be studs and everyone can see it coming - that said, they should make the current team NEXT year.
