I recently heard from a little birdie that they're changing the lights illuminating the bottom of the stands at Jack Trice at night from the normal white lights to an alternation of red and gold. Has anyone else heard about this?
The lights lighting up the bottom of the stands?
Where are those located at?
I thought the only lights for the stadium were the ones located above the upper deck...
I haven't been in JT for about 3/4 of a year so my memory is a little weak.
Those lights illuminating underneath the stands are what I'm referring to. I think it might be a relatively new addition anyway, I don't remember seeing them my freshman year at the Texas A&M game.
if you made the upper section of the stadium a board there is a surface that the fans sit on and then there is just the other side of the board. He is saying the lights on the opposite side of what people sit on.
At first I thought you meant the crowd would appear yellow and red... As long as it didn't impact the patron's vision... that'd actually be a great idea.
There are lights between the lower and upper decks. A single row that goes all around the stadium. They have been there for several years and light up the whole stadium quite nicely. They used to turn them on during late-day games if it got a little dark. I assume these are the lights you are talking about.
Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

That is what I thought also. Those lights have been there longer than I can remember. So they are going to tint them cardinal and gold?
Make sure you don't call the charge. But make sure you call the foul on the scrum....
