One question....maybe it's just me, but it seems your recruiting articles are always slanted towards Basketball. I'd be curious to know more on the Football recruiting front as well.
haha...ooops...i have NO clue how the editor didn't catch that...as far as me writing about basketball...well that's kind of what Scott Nulph originally brought me on for...it's a real passion of mine and there are other great resources to go to for football recruiting...I will keep that in mind in the future though. Thanks for your input.
I agree Chris, best case scenario would be Davila and Iverson. However, if we land only one of them, do you think the staff would consider banking the other scholarship for 2009, or would they try and pick up a Mario Little. Just curious.
If Mario Little wants to come to Iowa State, I'm almost positive that the coaches would accept the commitment. From what I've heard, he's too talented of a player to pass up.
He'll be a pretty solid prospect by the time he commits anywhere. K-State is all over him right now, which scares me considering the coaches there right now if you catch my drift.

per the Illinois board, Little had an unofficial to Ill today, will probably set up an official later, and apparently he is going to take an official visit to ames sometime in September.
Lets see. I spend a day chatting with Coach Weber. Shortly thereafter I spend some time with Coach Mac. I'm sorry but I can't listen to Weber without giggling.
Mario Little is one of the top-rated juco players in the nation. He would be a great addition, provided he behaves himself better than ISU's last Chipola College recruit. As Chris said, he is too good a player to pass on.
