Channel 13 sports sound off.

I havent watched this show in years and I can totally see why. Ouch.

Here's why I can't watch. For the most part it's just uninformed ISU or Iowa fans calling in to rip on the other school. I can't stand it. It can be over the top and embarrasing.
That being said, I do like Murph.

Murphy is good, but the callers are always horrible it seems. Too bad they cant just read emails...

A call-in talk show on television just doesn't work. I wish it was a half hour Iowa sports show which showed highlights of area sports or had "experts" on to talk, etc.....the idiots that call in really ruin the show..............

The callers are impossible to listen to....just horrible. I usually only watch the first few minutes for the "I think" segments. Absolutely hate trying to listen to the callers.

I'm not a Burnside fan. I'm not sexist or anything, she just doesn't do it for me. I remember Marty and Miller joking about having their own soundoff type show on Channel 5 with Walters and I wish they would get that done. They would dominate SoundOff. Murphy is good, but he has no co-host and the format is played out.

With Andy Fales gone they gonna have to come up with something to keep the viewers. During the "dead season" of the summer you could at least look forward to What's Buggin' Andy.

I can't watch too much of it. Sometimes Murph makes good points, but ont he whole, it's just too much.

It's like when the DM Rag still had the Big Peach. The only people who contributed to the opinion page seemed like the ones who really shoudn't. They were either totally uninformed, or their bias clouded their perspective to the point of absurdity.

That being said, everyone should be entitled to their opinion, I just don't want to hear it.

I've never thought Burnside was funny. Annoying, yes. Entertaining, no way. It's sad she would even be considered for Sound Off.

I LOVE soundoff! You know its a good show when your wife who could care less about sports (other than tailgating), likes soundoff.

I love soundoff, I hate Heather. She adds nothing to the show. At least bring on Sean terrell, or someone that knows about sports.

Give it time guys...Keith Murphy has more talent in this business than a handful of other local media guys combined...we are lucky to have sportscasters like him and John Walters in the Des Moines market...two professionals who I really look up to...

I agree, it stinks not having Andy on the show anymore but it will move on just like life and will be great again...I promise
