ESPN has their list of the overrated/underrated teams in the last 10 years. The Big 12 has been heavily overrated, most notably Nebraska. ISU was one of the 3 Big 12 teams underrated (K-State, Texas Tech) mostly because we are never ranked in the preseason polls. But good to see ISU on espn in a positive way, as small and unimportant as it might be.
Although I appreciate their effort to be objective, I suspect that the biases in the pre-season rankings were still present -- albeit tempered with a small dose of reality -- in the final rankings. Accordingly I think their results are conservative.

Was reading Sporting News and SI in the car this weekend and one of them predicted us 4-8 with 1 win in the conference. So then I go to see what the Hawks are projected which is 9-3 with 3 conference losses so I assume that means they think we beat Kent State, UNI, Toledo, and 1 Big 12 team. Personally I think we win 2 Big 12 games and lose to Toledo and probably Iowa hence my 4-5 win prediction. Who knows, I'm just ready to see the boys play!
