We made his top 5 and are now listed as "high" on CN. Just thought I would update everyone.

Edit: Does anybody know who our main competition for Davila is? His 5 with high interest are:

Charlotte High Interest
Clemson High Interest
Iowa State High Interest
Virginia Tech High Interest
Wake Forest High Interest

But Wake has a full roster of rides for next year. So it's pretty much down to Charlotte, Clemson, and VT... Where do we stand? Does anybody know?

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that we're the only school not out East. I really hope it's a good thing......He's good at seemingly everything.

Yeah, I think he's added a bit too. Rivals has him at 6-8, 240. Cross your fingers folks.

While we were never in the game for players like Negedu and Zeller, Davila may be one we have somewhat of a shot at. His preference seems to be to stay out east but that may not necessarily be a deal breaker. I know Memphis is not mentioned in his final 5 but from things I have heard blowing in the wind, I believe they may still be a viable player in this game. I think if Calipari really wants him, there is a reasonably good chance he would get him. I could be wrong but don't be too surprised if I am not. Wake Forest also has been after him for a long time but unless they do something to free up an '08 schollie soon, they may be in trouble. Don't be surprised to see Davila at a Clone football game in September.

People beat me to this...I will go nuts if we get Davilla! He is just what our team needs. He could do some damage in the big 12, moreso than I think he could do out east. I really think he could impress the nation playing here.

My friend, this whole board would go nuts if we got him and Psyched, any word on Iverson? There was some seemingly encouraging news on him recently

Iverson will be visiting pretty soon. I expect our student section to let him know how much we want him. I think if we get one of the two (Davila, Iverson)we would bank the next scholly for 09 or 10 unless We get the Juco kid from Chipola.

Also the kid from Chipola is to good to not take. The only question I have is can he get grades. He is not a trouble maker. He is just not the best at academics.
