Did anyone else happen to see this yet? I always thought he had a ton of potential just needed the right direction. It seems like we are seeing a lot of this type of thing lately in sports. I am just kinda surprised that no one had even been talking of an NBA player missing if it took a week to ID Eddie.
Here's to hoping the cycle of sports stories start shifting back to the positive.
"It is the nature of man to rise to greatness if greatness is expected of him." John Steinbeck
He was the next big thing, I remember watching him drain threes and bang with the bigs at Seton Hall. He never quite developed in the NBA. Dang though, you hate to see this...professional athletes are scrutinized daily under the harsh microscope of the media, then something like this happens and you realize how little sport matters and that you're dealing with a real person.
How do you get hit by a train? Do you just not see it?
Maybe he just try to beat it. I saw a car get hit by a train in Missouri Valley when I was a kid. Horrible sight to see. People sometimes just gun it, and try to get through ahead of it. I've also come across a train crossing a gravel road at night, and that is pretty weird, because all you see is something moving, but you can't tell what it is.
