2008 RB prospect Ryan Bass
He is a 5'10 running back out of california 186 pounds and a 4* by rivals and scout. he has schueled a visit for December 3 to iowa state. he runs a 4.4 fourty time as well. seems like he would be a good get. here is an article with his profiles. I wouldn't mind seeing ISU pick up about 2-4 four star players a year. I think it's very reasonable. If coaches can convince players to go to Iowa City to play there is no reason that coach Chizik can't get them to go on over to Ames and play for the good guys. I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

RB's are usually the most athletic players on their high school team and you can move them to different positions (ala Hobbs). Plus you have players leaving early, injuries, etc.
