Meyer to Bylthe ----Touchdown

NCCA Record for the MOST TOUCHDOWN PASSES, SAME PASSER AND RECEIVER

In a Season
26—Tim Rattay to Troy Edwards, Louisiana Tech, 1998

In a Career
39—Tim Rattay to Troy Edwards, Louisiana Tech,
1997-98

Last season Meyer through 19 TD passes and 9 were to Blythe. How many Career TD passes will Meyer throw to Blythe in their careers? My guess 34.

ISU Career Touchdown Passes record
1. Todd Bandhauer (1995-98) 40
2. Alex Espinoza (1984-86) 33
3. Bret Meyer (2004-) 29

What game will Brett Meyer break the all time ISU record for TD passes? My guess game six at Jack Trice against Nebraska.

ISU Career Passing Yards
Att. Comp. Pct. Int. Yds. TD
1 Alex Espinoza (1984-86) 891 454 .510 31 5,307 33
2. Seneca Wallace (2001-02) 712 411 .577 27 5,289 26
3. Todd Bandhauer (1995-98) 826 404 .489 35 5,235 40
4. Bret Meyer (2004-) 658 376 .571 16 4,802 29
5. Sage Rosenfels (1997-2000) 587 306 .521 26 4,164 19

What game will Brett Meyer break the all time ISU record for Career Passing yards? My guess game three at Iowa.

Brett Meyer improved his quarterback rating from 114.4 to 138.9 and his passing percentage improved from 51.4 to 61.7 over the past 2 years. Those are good numbers already and he was only a sophmore last year. How special is he going to be?

To me the most amazing thing about his Sophmore numbers is that he delivered those numbers while running for his life. His 36 memory serves me right sacks were well above any other Big 12 QB.

If you told methat our QB was going to be runing for his life and sacked more than 3 times per game and then told me that he was going to have the season he did I would have said you were crazy. His ab rating was 2nd highest in Big 12 and he did it on the run. What can he do with a oline that isn't porus?

Let's just hope that the 5 blocks of styrofoam have stiffened. Become more rigid, if you will.
