I'm watching tonight and have 2 thoughts...
1. Why in the hell is the "scoreboard" near the bottom in the center of the screen? So far on a number of occasions...it covered important parts of the action. Either move it all the way to the bottom and make it smaller or move it to the top left of the screen!
2. The crew of Tirico, Thiesman and Kornhieser. Initially I thought, "well, that'll be ok". Now having watched over half a game...I'm saying "what were you people thinking???"
Granted, this is just the first MNF football game and it's just pre-season...but I just can't stand these guys. I already watched a Sunday night game on NBC with the old faithful Michaels and Madden. They'll make NBC proud. I'm not sure we'll be able to say the same for the bumbling trio.
Normally I'm not one to complain about announcers. But tonight I just couldn't hold back.

I'm glad Tirico got moved to Monday night so he isn't doing college football games. He seems too into his voice.

tHEISMAN, imo, is a terrible color man. if they removed him, i think they could be better.
since being laid up yesterday and today, i have watched ALOT of preseason football. The NFL network is sweet! I can hardly wait for the season to start. The NFL channel is taking chances on new announcers and I like it. they have different perspectives and opinions on what is happening.
btw: Brooks is a horrible QB. Carolina will be very very good this year. I am think of having Deloume as my my FFL starting QB.

Keep...whatcha laid up with?
I too have been watching the NFL network some. Watched almost all of the replay of Seattle vs. Dallas last night. Dallas is my team and Seneca was playing. :)
Aaron Brooks is only a QB because he can make plays with his feet. Throwing...he's very inconsistant. Carolina will be tough...they got better this fall by picking up Keyshawn...dammit!
I never was a fan of the previous Sunday night crew and I'm realizing most of that was due to Theisman. Yet....Kornhieser doing games? Tony Kornhieser??? C'mon...
And yes...the Raiders still do stink it up. Gallery is having a very tough time making the switch to left tackle.

The Raiders don't just look crappy, they are crappy. Their O-line is BAD. Brooks throws off his back foot, and that's when he's not taking a sack. They will compete with Buffalo for the right to draft Brady Quinn.

Tony C is too happy about himself, Joe T talks to much, and The Third Man Sirico appears lost. Yep, looking like the Three Stooges for the pre season. Tell Clinton Portis that the preseason is for the broadcasters to get better.
I suggest they add color commentary by Monkeybrow to spice up the action.
