McDonough out 4 games for Valley?

Not sure if its been posted yet. kinda disappointing. Was really loking forward to watching his highlights on Fri. nights. The only reason to watch HS football anymore is to watch recruits play to me.

If a player doesn't get good enough grades in high school to play football, that doesn't sound promising. Can't you just show up in high school and get a C?

I heard some scuttle butt about another reason for the academic ineligibilty is related to cheating on a paper/test or something along those lines.

If he did do that it could be a reason for the low grade in the class. I don't want to speculate but its just what I heard through the grapevine.

read the article. it says something about an surgery (dental?) that had some complications and kept him out of school. This may not be something that will re-occur in the college setting.

i beleive that he attended Oskaloosa's summer camp because he was going to transfer.

when i took Osky's football picture, all the kids were asking where McDonough was?

McDonoughs father wanted him to transfer to Oskaloosa, but it didn't work out. I think part of the reason why is so he could play more games, knowing that he would have to sit out if he came back to Valley.
