Chemistry among a coaching staff is one of those intangible things that can help you along the way. Pact or no pact, these guys can coach. There may have been guys out there with better schemes or more high profile experience. It's nice to know that our coaching staff gets along.
It fits into the whole team/family thing that I think is going on here. Leading by example is huge. You know these guys won't undercut each other, but you also know that they know each other well enough to be able to say things to one another less familiar coaches might not.
In Gene Chizik's eyes, these men had to be the best for the job. He's not going to screw himself over early in his career by picking guys just because he likes them. I'm not worried and I think to be worried about it is just an overreaction. This is a positive thing on many levels.
