Re: Jerome Tiller commits
Our last "soft" commit has already de-commited, Ellington from Illanoy. I dont like soft commits either. It makes us appear like were in GREAT position, but theres always a chance our heart will be broken.

Re: Jerome Tiller commits
Im hoping Ellington is just waiting for the ISU vs. Iowa game to recommit with his teammate Sani

Re: Jerome Tiller commits
yeah, i was under the impression from the write up on CR that is was a firm committment, so i hope CyPlains is correct.

Re: Jerome Tiller commits
watching this guys highlight reel will excite you...bates and arnaud might have to move out of the way, this guy is seneca wallace-esc
-
Re: Jerome Tiller commits
the closest ive seen to seneca-esc has got to be qb bj danies. hes the most impressive and closest ive seen to seneca. but obviously nobody can duplicate what he did. i think tiller could be a good safety

Re: Jerome Tiller commits
I don't think this guy looks like Seneca at all. I think he looks a lot like Bret Meyer with better speed and better vision when running. I mean that as a huge compliment, by the way, but just don't see the Wallace comparison.
He is a long strider but looks very fast and can change direction without slowing down at all.
I think Seneca was more of a jitterbug kind of guy if that makes sense.
Tiller looks more of a fast straight ahead with one cut kind of guy.
In his video, he shows great, great touch on his passes as well.
I also like the fact that he only benches 240. Get him established in the lifting program as he appears to have a lot of potential that's been untapped.

Re: Jerome Tiller commits
is ISU recruiting the RB for this team? He looks pretty darn good to me.

New recruit
Looks like we picked up a new recruit over the weekend. Appears to be a good get for Chizik's crew. From the free part of rivals. Jerome Tiller - Football Recruiting -
Re: Jerome Tiller commits
Again, the thing that I like is that with every passing commitment, and kid that we are in on, is that we are striving to get faster, and more athletic.
A fast team, with good teaching, will get Iowa State over the hump.
