Tailgating Advice Needed!!!!
My in-laws have a camper (5th wheel) which we will be using for the first time this year. Are there any special rules regarding campers? Can we park it the night before the game so we don't need to weave through all the cars on game day?

Bump.
My group will be bringing a "tenement on wheels" for the first time on Thursday also. Can anyone give us some details on the RV situation? Overnight spots, gametime spots, etc.? We'd like to continue tailgating in the grass lot south of the stadium, across Elwood.
Yeah well, ya know, that's just, like uh, your opinion, man. -

This is our first year overnighting as well with our RV. I know in the past you could park in Vet Med the night before. I'm curious if that will be the case Wednesday night considering they still have class Thursday. Other than that not sure where we'll go after that.

Re: Tailgating Advice Needed!!!!
I think it all really depends on if you have a NCC RV spot or not. Which lots are you guys going to park in for the game? I know they open the NCC lots up the night before.

Re: Tailgating Advice Needed!!!!
We don't have the NCC RV pass but have been told in the past that Vet Med is open for all RVs the night before and I see even the NCC RVs that arrive after midnight have to go there until the lots open again in the morning in the NCC lot.

Be aware that there is construction going on at Vet Med....

Re: Tailgating Advice Needed!!!!
No NCC RV spot here. I'm not sure what NCC level is required or what the RV pass costs, but I'm guessing there wasn't room in the budget for that plus the Holiday Rambler. Anyway, we'd rather tailgate on grass with the younger crowd. Also, what are the real benefits of the official RV spots, other being a little closer to the stadium? Unless they've added utility connections. That would be nice.

Per this: http://www.cyclones.com/ViewArticle....&ATCLID=881103 Overnight parking is at Vet Med. If it's not guess we'll be driving around till we find where everyone else decided camp out.

Our local Walmart allows RV's to stay in their lot overnight and I think most Walmart stores allow this. Worth a try if Vet Med is closed.

Once they found out that 97% of their annual revenue came from people living in mobile homes they opened it up.
"Yeah Clark, that there's an RV"

Re: Tailgating Advice Needed!!!!
Now, I'm not suggesting anyone should go inside and spend money at Walmart but if Vet Med is closed feel free to use their parking lot. We won't tell.

Well makes you wonder though because a lot of these lots are usually lots in use during the school day as it is so can't see how anyone that normally parks in them will be allowed to on Thursday as it is. For instance the students probably have to have the cars out of the stadium lots sometime Wednesday night I'm sure.
