Thursday game...

AMEN! Same here! Plus the night games are so much more fun for tailgating because you don't have to get up so darn early. And I'd much rather use up time off work for this and have a 5 day weekend then some of the other things that I could have done instead.

Personally, I love the Thursday games but only in this type of situation (Holiday weekend). It wouldn't make sense any other weekend...

Made me mad how everyone would leave... it was a big problem the last year I lived in the dorms and cemented my resolve to get the heck out of them (though I was already pretty much ready to leave - I love Friley but it was time to part ways)

But yeah, students leave and while it's stupid (going home to see high school friends vs making new college friends), freshman do do it. 22's excuse was better - some people do come from farms, and thats understandable. Going home to see your girlfriends is not

I seem to recall this being a reason stated for moving to Thursday - greater exposure. We're not a very distinguished team, so we'd get lost in the coverage. By playing on Thursday, we stand out a bit more and more people will notice us. Complete publicity move, though without the TV coverage it makes less sense

Thursday is awesome - just for the fact that I'd go crazy if I had to wait for the weekend to get here - I'm so damn pumped!

So, lets assume are some benefits and costs to having a Thursday game.

There have been many that have listed a lot of each. Bottom line how does the attendance compare?

09/02/04: 42,865

The numbers tell an interesting story.
So, if we are all fired up, what might Saturday really be?

Exactly! Although I am working until 11 on Thursday. Then its off to tailgate. I seriously might not make it until then, I am so pumped!
