EVERYONE is answering the call this year. Wow...completely amazing. I can only imagine what this means to the players, new staff and AD's office - to see all of this happening - especially on the heels of such a horrible season.

Lets show up all season long and support the 'Clones!

Yeah, getting people to show up in Oct and Nov will be the next big thing. No skipping when it is not 60 and sunny. It is Iowa get used to it! That is what they make snowpants for:biglaugh:

Yup, especially when the brutal part of our schedule will be over and we'll likely be banged up a bit in the W/L column. Plus, the not-so-glamourous teams will be in Ames then (K-State, Colorado).

I'll be very happy if we can get good attendance to those two games, regardless of our record. I truly hope it happens.

That still amazes me, that it's just August and student MBB season tickets are sold out. Has that ever happened this early before?

Yes it has, two years ago the student section sold out.

I can't wait for Thursday!! A sold out student section and a new era begins.

I'm not referring to sellouts. I'm talking about MBB tickets being sold out a good 3-4 months before games begin!

for bball tickets, buy the corner balconies ($99) then buy the cyclone alley membership and just wear your shirt to the game and you could most likely sit in cyclone alley, first come first served

That's what I mean, the students MBB season tickets two years ago were sold out at least by the first week of classes; at least, that's what my roommate was told when he tried to order them.

I'm already laughing at the students who decide to show up 5 minutes before kick off, only to find there aren't any seats left! :biglaugh:

It's gonna be awfully crowded in the upper parts of the section, with people cramming in and all. Makes me glad that I sit in the first 2 rows where they control how many people can be in it! :wink:
