Tailgating: Your beer of choice?

Yup...you got that right. I remember doing that, but before the drinking days oddly enough. Those OJ bottles are not easy to break - seriously.

It took all my will power not to laugh out loud at this in the middle of class... it's a good thing I'm in the back of a large lecture so I could hide the smile a little better... good stuff!

Anywhoz not much of a beer person yet, nor do I generally drink before football games (yet... next year when I'm an alumni rather than a face painting nut job that everyone assumes is already drunk on the other hand...)

I'll probally bring Hieniken, though I'd drink other stuff too. Not terribly picky, but I will not drink Key Stone or Pabst

Golden light for a nice base - maybe some of the Linny's Summer Shandy (I have no idea why I like it - but I do)

And some redbull with a drop of deer blood (jager-reference) to top it all off!

Bloody Mary's are a morning favorite for our group too.

Although it really is a nice feeling to crack that first beer before the sun comes up.

Come on Hieniken taste like hinie. I probably haven't gave it a fair shake. I find for morning games a nice tomato beer in the morning can get the system flowing. Then I usually go with Keystone Light. Maybe a couple whiskey cokes. I might start drinking something more grown up, but damn, I don't want to grow up.

Tomorrow, I can't make it till like 5:30 since my finace won't get done teaching and home till 4:00. So, I'm having my own tailgate at her apartment while waiting for her. They say drinking alone make you an alcoholic, sign me up..

I drank a lot of it in Europe this summer, including first thing in Amsterdam (where it's from) so...

That aside, the fact that I'm drinking alcohol at all before a game is a step up (But coke and brats don't work so well

). Superfan and I have rather high standards for ourselves... a lot of kids look at us when we're dressed up so we try to be postive role models, as well as positive represenatives of our school.

Like I said though, once we graduate we'll probally relax our standards and dress a little, while keeping the fired up attitude (maybe even a little more fired up with a few beers or some whisky or jager or... well you get the idea

)

Leinie's Honey Weiss, Boulevard Wheat, Lowenbrau, Guinness and Bass (especially in a black and tan), if I have to go cheap, Budweiser.

It's all about the quality, not the quantity...

The beer I plan on "tailgating" with this year is Winklerbraeu Kupfer Spezial. Best when served in frosted cut crystal goblets, this is the beer that The Angels descend to earth to drink.

I'll be drinking heavily because I'm not able to watch lol... But the beer will be good beer, in bottles... I think Boulevard Lunar and Sammie's Summer Ale are in the fridge now.
