My tailgating beer of choice is Labbat's Blue Light, but I don't think you poor souls in Iowa know the joy of Canadian beer. I'll probably be drinking High Life Lite, as my Grandpa in Ames always has a big stash of it. I'm one of the few who like High Life, but wattering the taste down dosn't help it.

Fat tire will be available Monday, September 10 in the state of Iowa... single serves only at first... 6 packs and 12 packs will follow at a later date.... they want distribution on singles first before brings the other packages... but still better than nothing.

Wine & Spirits FANTASTIC! I'll sleep well tonight knowing my thirst for Fat Tire will soon be quenched. Tell Sue N. in the booze dept. that I'll be in for it Sept. 10th.

Re: Tailgating: Your beer of choice?
I didnt know you could get Yeungling (why make it so hard to spell) around here either. I will have to try and find it and see if I still think its good stuff... Maybe it only tasted good when mixed with the smog in Jersey...
I think Fat Tire is WAY over rated. If I'm drinking Colo beer I will take Odell over New Belgium any day of the week and twice on sunday. Boulevard may be my fav - wheat, zon, and lunar are great. There is also one good thing to come from Lincoln - Empyrian beer can be good!
Nothing to see here mods. Keep moving. -

I know of it because I have a buddy from Penn St. who supplied me with it. I'd love to see it distributed on a wider scale.

We have Labbat Blue Here. We also have Molson products. We really aren't that far from Canada here. -

If they only sold Molson XXX Black in the Midwest - the only place I've ever seen (or had) that in the US was in Watertown, NY, which is about 30 miles from the Canadian border. By far the best Canadian beer I've ever had, and is one of my tops overall...

Well, why would you drink Yuengling, if you can't get that brand of potato chips they have around there, whose name slips my mind, right now?
