My hawkeye girlfriend is getting her first Cyclone tailgate experience tonite. The assimilation is going along nicely since we went shopping for ISU gear last night

Good...because if she shows up in Hawk garb to our tailgate today - I'll...well...I'll...

Yes, phase one is complete. He will be in attendance this evening as well. He promised no Iowa gear--I told him that was a deal breaker.

    Re: What a great day!

I woke my 18 month old girl up this morning to ISU FIghts and she was cheering and clapping. SHe;s been doing touchdown for a long time, but when we ask her to say football, she says "Dad"
Maybe its because I'm gone every night for it.

She has promised no hawkeye gear except for the 15th. *sigh* Rome wasn't built in a day...

My plan is to teach my 3 1/2 month old to say ma ma first, so then if he wakes up in the middle of the night he can put the guilt trip on her by name, and if she protests I've got the "well, I'd go take care of it, but he really wants his mama"

“I’m just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard,” Eustachy joked. “If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, he’ll be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.”

My little guy was completely indoctrinated as a Cyclone, but when he went to school for the first time, he switched to the dark side, and I had to buy a Hawk sweatshirt for him. Then, as he matured into the fine young nine year old man that he is now, he switched back
