Bigger party with more games next week!
Sorry for a probable repeated question, but where will you be tailgating? Thanks,
We're in G7...as are a handful of CF members. :)
Yup G7 is where it all happens. Just remember, what happens in G7, stays in G7.
We were in G7 as well actually liked the grass instead of the pavement. Not so sure about it when the weather gets a lil bit worse though. I didnt think the lot got very full though. Plus u have to feel safe with all the Per Mar senior citizen employees parking in the lot. Jeremy were u the ones tailgating with the black Nissan?
Yes...the black Nissan was our group. :)
I to really like G7. When we increase our NCC membership next year - even though we'll have access to the paved lots between JTS and Hilton, I'm most likely going to request G7. It's really not that far away from the stadium (considering we'd be on the north end of those paved lots and our seats are in section 12, southwest side).
Plus, like you said, I love the grass. Easier on the legs, better for playing catch and it's cooler. Just my preference. :)
G7 is too far away...we need to tailgate in A3 or B5 so I don't have to walk very far. Yes, I am lazy.
Just making you earn that award. ;)
I don't know, we went into the stadium from D2. Walked out after to my truck in G7. I'd say the distance is about a wash. I DO know that I got out of the G7 lot a heck of alot faster than I ever got out of the north lots.
However, walking through the wet grass from the evening dew and being soaked by the time we got to the truck was not a pleasant experience. On the upside, passing out onto grass is much nicer that concrete.
When JP stopped, he asked about the lot. Apparently there was alot of discussion that people wouldn't want to park out there in the grass - but he said they sold all 1000 passes for that lot.
Wonder where all those people were because it was nowhere near full.
Well I had a great treck back to G7 last night. I ran from the stadium after the game and ran through a foot of water in a ditch that splashed all over hell and then continued to spray all over me as I ran in my sandals:no::nah::cry::frown: Of course I wanted to wear those sandals today and didn't realize that they smelled like dog "stuff" until after I was at work and couldn't stand sitting with myself:twitcy:
After the game it was about completely full. Must have been a lot of late shows.
Getting out of the lot was quick for me. About 30 seconds. That could be because we waited until all but about 30 cars remainded. Had to finish the tailgaiting. That is why they make hotels.
Whaaaaat?????
I took a peek over the top of the upper deck at halftime, and there were beaucoup empty spots in that lot. I'm old and eye sight is failing, and it was dark save the generator lights. But from what I saw, most of the patrons parked up front, a bunch way in the back and there was alot of green in the middle.
Oh well, the stadium was pretty darn full and that's the number that counts.
