My Cyclone Blog on dmjuice.com

Juice blogs » The Cyclones

I was picked to be 1 of the Cyclone bloggers for Des Moines Juice. I put my first post up today although I didn't get too crazy with it since I was about to take a nap after I got home today. Maybe I'll post some tailgating pictures later this weekend possibly.

If you ever have any topics you want to see covered shoot me a PM. I plan to cover a broad area of topics throughout the year so it's not all going to be about the games and how the season is going.

Well obviously your number one duty is to give props to CF for everything

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

I'll get a shot in for you J! I need to read my terms first to make sure I wouldn't get into any trouble for referencing or linking other websites but it already crossed my mind.

I'm just kidding of course, unless you'd like a free CF t-shirt that is

Is that your pic on there or is it Andrew Dakin?

I was thinking about it because I remembered your tickets are in Section G, and I usually am in Row 10 of Section G and thought about yelling your name last night to see if I could find you, heh heh.

That's me, we do sit 2 rows in front of you it sounds like and bet I have probably said something before to ya. For some reason the way Juice's blogs work it puts both Andrew's and my profile info whenever either of us posts. Not sure why that is, I emailed an admin about it and he said that's just the way the system does it. Guess I'll take their word but you'd think there is a way to fix that.

Re: My Cyclone Blog on dmjuice.com

Here's an opportunity for anyone interested. You can send me a PM or just email Tim if you want. Juice is looking for some people to be in their Iowa/Iowa State game edition:

Tim Paluch over at Juice. I'm putting together all of our Iowa-ISU game coverage, and had an idea. I'd like to get some smack talk going between Iowa and ISU fans in Juice. So I'm asking big fans (like yourself) to help me out and get some discussion going. Here's a bulletin I put out:

The big game is 11 days away. Here's your chance to talk some smack and get in Juice.
We want people to do one or some or all of the following:
-Predict the outcome of the game.
-Tell a Cyclone or Hawkeye joke.
-Tell us why one school is better than the other.
-Just flat-out rip on the other school.
-Answer this question: "What's the worst thing about Iowa State/Iowa?"
Remember, keep it short and keep it clean. OK, fine, somewhat clean is good enough.

E-mail tim@dmJuice.com. Include your full name, age and your allegiance (i.e. Tim Paluch, 27, 2003 Iowa State grad). We'll probably want to run a photo of you, too.

Interested in helping? Know any other ISU fans who might be willing to throw some smack to the Hawkeyes like this?
Thanks in advance.

I'm now 36. That means I'm too old to participate in dmjuice, unless of course I happen to be in the back of a picture with some pretty ladies.

"Mr. Simpson, don't you worry. I watched Matlock in a bar last night. The sound wasn't on, but I think I got the gist of it." Lionel Hutz

" And all the while you're just really wondering are we gonna get hopped up enough to make some bad decisions? Perhaps play a little game called "just the tip". Just for a second, just to see how it feels. Or, ouch, ouch you're on my hair. " Jeremy Grey

Never too old! Go through some of their photo galleries and you'll find people in their 30's and 40's more often than you think.
