Need kicker, look down the road !

I went to the Johnston game last night, and the Johnston kicker kicked two field goals beyond forty yards. He also was booting the ball out of the endzone on kickoffs, as he had plenty of practice since Johnston won 54-0. After the game, he was interviewed on the radio, and he said that he had received a letter from Iowa, and also was entertaining some small colleges. Why is Iowa State not interested in this kid? It kind of reminds me of all of the Ankeny kickers that have gotten away from Iowa State. I was under the expression that special teams are 30% of the game.

His name is Zach Guyer. He's in my gym class and the football coach is the P.E. teacher. They both said with a little wind he can kick 65 yarders.

I have said since this kid was a sophomore that we should offer him. He has a huge leg and is pretty accurate. He tore is ACL before his Junior year playing soccer I believe, which could be why a lot of schools are not up on him

With that said there is a huge difference b/w high school and college kicking. High school kids get to tee the ball up
