K-State vs Auburn

Pretty good game so far. Not much offense though.

The K-State defense is relentless, especially on the pass rush. They come off the corners pretty damn fast.

Do you do anything on weekends but watch football... Cause it is really ******* me off that you get to sit there and watch games, and I have to paint the house, plant the grass, mow the lawn, etc, nag, etc.

K-State missed scoring a touchdown on the first drive of the game by about 2 yards. They have not moved the ball since that first drive. But so far, they are hanging with Auburn just fine and playing very physical ball. It's nice to see a Big 12 team not only coping with the "toughness" of the SEC, but giving it back as well.

Got up early this morning and spend over 3 hours in the yard mowing, trimming, etc while the Mrs. cleaned the house. Now we're relaxing. Works quite well. :wink:

Doesn't look like you were working that hard today.:biglaugh:

Beautiful trick play... K-State goes up 10-6!

I HATE K-State, but wow, gotta love that creative playcalling! (3 "trick" play attempts in a series, with the last, a WR throwback, being for a TD)

Playing that well on defense at Auburn shows some real backbone. Or maybe Auburn was looking ahead a bit. Although I find that hard to believe, since KSU is a Big 12 school. It's not like they are Appalachian State.

I remember the threads about projections for this year - a decent number of fans thinking we'd beat K-State.

Even if we improve a lot, this team is significantly better than we are.

Regardless of outcome, they have a decent team! No way ISU can beat them and I love the creativity!

Totally agree, I hate K-State about as anybody in the Big 12, but I like how they are gambling and playing to win, instead of playing not to lose.

KSU may have just knocked Cox out for the game. What a hit! But it looks like KSU quarterback is knicked up after that worthless slide attempt. KSU defense is tough! I like their style!

Even if they win tonight and start to do really well, they still have to face us before they go into Lincoln to potentially play for the North title. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them looking ahead a week and underestimate a "poor" ISU squad.
