The Fall and Spring softball schedule is posted. (The Spring schedule is not complete. In some cases only tournament dates/locations are listed.)
In the previous seasons, Iowa State skipped playing a tournament the first week that the softball season opened up. I'm guessing that was a budgetary decision.
Not this year!!! Iowa State softball will play a full schedule starting on February 9th.
This I think is a big development for all Cyclone teams in that it shows a $$$ commitment to being competitive. eg. What big time football recruit would ever come to play for us if we only played a 9 game schedue?
