All the Brister supporters....
I watched him play in the summer league and he struggled. He has the body for a big 12 player or close enough. He can't shoot and he is okay with the ball, he has worse handles than Stinson by far and that is who he reminds me of. I think he will serve as an okay backup. We are going to rely on Diante G. alot.
My prediction for our starting five
1. Diante G. 1. Diante G.
2. Wesley J. 2. Lucca S. or Charles B.
3. Rahshon C. 3. Rahshon C.
4. Alex T. or Craig B. 4. Wesley J
5. Jiri H. 5. Jiri H.

nsv sez: What are you talking about? Stinson didn't turn the ball over nearly as much as you make it seem. If Brister reminds you of Stinson, then you will appreciate the 16 points he will give us each game. :)

Re: All the Brister supporters....
I don't think anybody expected Brister to be much more than a backup. He'll be fine, I think he's a guy that will thrive in more of a system and surrounded by high flyers like Clark and Johnson. He'll have to play because you can't ask a 6'4" or 5" freshman to play 40 minutes a game. Also, I find it extremely unlikely Wesley starts at the 2. I think AT will play some C minutes. But who knows, this team is going to be an enigma again and it will be fun to see them grow up together.

Re: All the Brister supporters....
Just remember, coach mac can make average players alot better then they have been in the past. example Jiri who was an average to below average player with WM here as coach then turned into a force down low. I know McD is a post player and can teach them more but I believe he will make brister somthing special and a good role player

With that said, I'll probably get replys like "If Sean Haluska plays a lot of minutes, that means we're in trouble." My reply to that is... Why? What if... he's actually pretty decent?

Not to be rude, but who is the guy on the team that always looks angry? I know that isn't the best way to describe him, but that is what I thought when I saw him. He looks like he is about 6'3-5''. Any help?

I would take Stinson with Gmac coaching him in a second. So While you may be down on the kid. I got excited when you described as that.

Re: All the Brister supporters....
And almost everyone is forgetting Cory Johnson. I expect CJ will be the most improved of the carryovers, because he is GMac's kind of player.

Re: All the Brister supporters....
Cory Johnson will play significant and I predict by the end of the year Lucca starts.

Re: All the Brister supporters....
I think if I guy who scored about 5 per game at Juco gets a lot of minutes we ARE in trouble. Maybe I'm wrong and Haluska is a better scorer.
