Also, bringing heat on the mods will get you a lot of low level "peasant-rep", doesn't add up too quickly but it feels good. Plus it helps keep 'em on their toes.
If you're female (or imply it online) and question rep, you will get a lot of positive. If you're male the crowd can not cut your legs off soon enough.
Political thread rep is like a night with a hooker: it feels good at the time, but in the end you feel cheap and dirty and probably have a disease.
