I really hope that Pollard is here for the long haul. He has brought such a surge of energy to Ames and the Cyclone family since he arrived on campus. I only fear that he'll pull a Gene Smith and take off for greener pastures once he gets the ISU ball rolling.

He is fantastic. Does anyone know where I can get an "I *heart* JP" shirt made?

Even if JP has a short stay in Ames, he will definitely leave the program in a better position than when he came and that's really all one can hope for. He is bound and determined to make the fans happy. If ISU starts winning and can snag some big ones, don't think he won't start a national media blitz--he will.

Maybe ISU should consider changing the mascot from Cyclones to Cheeseheads since Pollard, Rutter, and Otzelberger are all native cheddarheads. :p :p :p :p

PsychedClone - If changing the mascot to Cheeseheads will get more ISU FB games televised up here in WI, then I'm all for it.

AmyK33 - Does Monkeybrow know about your Pollard love? But ofcourse you already share him with Nancy so he's probably OK with it.

I'd love to hear a "Poll-ard! Poll-ard! Poll-ard" chant at JTS a few times this fall. Namely for the first game.

Yeah, I think I knew about Monkey's love for the cheese. He'll have to be ok with the fact there is another man in my life. Don't most couples have a celebrity out? Well, instead of Brad Pitt, I want JP...and Monkey has Nancy. Fair enough.

Interesting that all the opponents are from major conferences. funny thing is, 2 of those bowls set us up with mid-majors....

I don't think playing a mid-major is in our destiny for bowl trips (imo, we will make one of the top four). Personnally I want to beat a second Big11Ten team in one year. :)
