Keeler's column in the Rag.
Am I the only one who thought Keeler is taking just a little too much glee in the idea of ISU going 0-12?

Re: Keeler's column in the Rag.
he is an idiot, someone should find out where he lives and duct tape his front door shut and then cut the power lines to his house so he can not write another article.

Re: Keeler's column in the Rag.
Keeler is trying to get a rise out of people. I've always said that I will never pay for that paper while Keeler and Clark are columnists... one down.

It's not secret that Keeler hates ISU. Any chance he has to point out the bad - he'll be there.

keeler is a d-bag. Enough said.

I'm not a Keeler fan at all, but you gotta admit, the way we looked makes it hard to find a W on the schedule. He's only reacting to what I State is handing him.

Realistic or not, the guy is a fifth-rate journalist who gets his rocks off on sensationalizing the smallest ISU failure or Iowa success, much less the large ones from either side.
True and Valiant
I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

Get it out! ISU is going to surprise some folks this season.

Kansas State. Not Iowa or Toledo. Maybe Colorado.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Keeler's column in the Rag.
If we play like we have in the first 2 games we could very well go 0-12. Those were probably the 2 most winable games on the schedule and we stunk.
I'm even starting to wonder if my 4 to 5 win predictions was generous. At least Dan beat the Kent State's and the UNI's on the schedule. I like Chizik, I'm going to be patient and wait till he gets his players in here so I'm not in panic mode but this definately is not how we expected to start a new era. We were talking after the game and wondered if Gene being a rookie head coach might have a little to do with it too as this is all new to him having to manage every aspect of the game and not just a defense. Who know but we need to start showing some improvement else getting this record number of season ticket sales to renew is going to be a tough task.

I'm not backing too far away from my 5-7 prediction, though 2-10 is very possible. -
Re: Keeler's column in the Rag.
it is a matter of personnel right now. watching the game last night, they were bigger, stronger, and faster. you have that, you win. back to the topic at hand, i read the article while waiting in a very long line at mcdonalds this morning. i wanted to find him and cave his face in with a right hook. its one thing for a fan of the hawks to drag us through the mud, but as a publication, shouldn't they have some unbiased writing? that is unexcusible. the register has definately lost me. i will never give that place one more dime or second of my time. rot in hell keeler.

Re: Keeler's column in the Rag.
You can practically hear him snickering between the lines. He's always ripping us. He questions our legitimacy when we're doing well, so this column comes as no surprise considering the problems we're having. I'm just surprised the Register let him tee off on us this bad and this early. Man, it'd be sweet to beat his Hawks next week, wouldn't it?

Re: Keeler's column in the Rag.
I believe that Keeler grew up an ISU fan.
Is this a case of a guy not wanting to look biased, so he piles on more than he should.
Much like Jonathon ******** (?) who has been a Hawk his whole life, but picked us to go something like 9-3.
A three legged dog walks into a bar and says, "I'm lookin' for the man who shot my paw."
