Any one know the scoop on the large fire in the northeast section of the parking lot during the fourth quarter?
Cop car was set afire by the carousing UNI tailgaters as they made a statement (just kidding).
Looked like a gas tailgater burner exploded from afar.
Chizik coins.
It was a bus engine in D2. Heard a rumor that the fire was due to the battery sparking or something.
Guy in my section got into a fight with his wife during the game and she stormed out. When we saw the fire I heard him say that she was ****** when she left, but he hoped she did start his truck on fire.
We park in D2. It was a ISU tailgate "short bus." It was burnt all the way though from engine to back seat.
Hope we can get though one game this year without some type of bus on fire!
I heard it was the football season up in smoke. (ha ha)
I could see from Section F that there was a vehicle fire during the early 4th quarter. It was north of the stadium about 3/4 the way to Hilton on the West side of the street, where people park for tailgating. Has anyone heard the cause? maybe as a PSA so we don't have this happen again?
Also, wasn't there a vehicle fire the Thursday of the KSU game?
- keep.
"Short bus" on fire???? Ummmm, no comment.
Some idiot in G3 had us nervous that he was going to set something on fire. Hey kept pouring lighter fluid on a small charcoal grill about 4 feet from the tailgate of a truck and it was flaming up about 5 or 6 feet in the air and hitting the tailgate that was down. Then he started putting trash and stuff on top of it and some of it fell off and caught the grass on fire that they had to stomp out. Just a completely careless thing to be doing when you are drunk and have a big flame going just feet away from the backend of a truck and some dry grass around you.
Saw an ambulance and rescue truck go into G4/G5 before the game. Anyone know what that was about?
