Hypothetically, HELL YEAH!!! If we get the chance too, i m sure Chizik will put his boot on their throat. Im sure that hell play plenty of subs, but he would probably still stick it to em. His program needs a win. A blowout would send a few fencesitters back to JTS the next time we play.
Iowa hasnt changed playcalling on O and D the last 10 or so years, our coaches should know what Iowa will do. I think the coaches were calling good plays last night, ay least on O, the players didnt execute.
If Iowa State avoided mistakes (its possible, maybe) they will be in great position to win or atleast be right there. Their QB making his first road start, he will make mistakes. I'm not expecting a win by any means, but our opponent is nothing to write home about.
If we take away the short pass and run. We can go undefeated the rest of the way and win the Big 12 championship game.
You're smoking crack. I think ISU has a chance to keep this game close. We have to eliminate turnovers, plain and simple. We have 7 turnovers in two games. It is no mystery as to why we didn't win either game. Winning the turnover battle is key in every game and especially when you have inferior talent. I think we will play better but there is little chance we actually pull out a victory.Quote:
