I was pretty close to there and I don't really want to say exactly what happened, but let's just say that a lot of "fish" was flying around that night.

I would tell ya if I knew. I just assumed it was someone that drank too much and got crabby with the rent a cops. I did laugh at one of the rent a cops coming up the stairs. He barely made it all the way up, I thought he was going to have a heart attack half way up.

There was some sort of issue less than halfway up section 12/13 (south side of 12 or north side of 13, couldn't tell) it looked like.

Not sure if it was a fan vs. fan issue or an alcohol issue. Could've been both.

However, I didn't see any fish.

If you are going to talk in code (ie fish), please make sure we know what the code means. A lot of fish flying around? Were we in Seattle?

I was right in front of that in section 13. One row about 4-5 people down. From what I understand there was a heated exchange between some ISU and UNI fans. It didn't come to blows, but it was getting there. All involved were escorted out by Ames PD.
There was a guy in that group that was so drunk he fell getting to his seat and there was genuine concern in our group that he might vomit.

There were a few other unruly fans in our section. One was this loud, obnoxious, Jabba the Hut guy. He's the type that yells things at the players and thinks that he's funny and cool. The problem being that he was making an *** out of himself. He was dropping the f bombs and GD this and GD that. Finally, someone went over to him and told him that we don't mind cherring for your team, but do it respectfully. There were families in the area. The few UNI fans that we had by us were nice and actually apologized because of the moron's behavior.

Problem is that every school has them. Actually, there's probably one in every section.
