How many people will be at the Big Game?

Here's a breakdown from the Cyclones athletic department:

Season tickets: 36,557

Corporate tents: 2,050

Band members: 605

ISU recruits: 410

Student athletes: 250

Family sections: 500

Little Cyclone Club: 2,266

Prep coaches: 300

Complimentary: 1,013

Opponent: 4,000

Single game trades: 847

Working personnel: 798

The total is 49,596.

Capacity for Jack Trice Stadium, pictured, is 45,000 seats, plus 10,000 hillside.

Actually, based on the new NCAA attendance stats, ISU has increased it's max capacity to 55k. Previously it was always listed at 45 and change.

The game atmosphere is huge for the future of a lot of programs if that many recruits will be there. (Probably some family members included in that)

I was surprised with that number. Granted those numbers include the recruits parent/parents and there will be recruits from multiple sports in attendance but it seemed higher than i would have expected. I wonder on average how many recruits are at a given game? Or is 410 the standard recruit ticket allotment per game?

I will be at EVERY game this year. Those that scream foul and rant about selling tickets should NEVER have boughten them in the first place PERIOD.... no apologies... you are either a FAN or you are NOT.

As a parent your child falls off his or her bike a couple times... YOU DUMMY ! I can't stand to watch. Call me when you figure it out.... so I can watch you ride away.... Hmmmm.....

I will definitely be there. Have to keep supporting the new staff and team...although I might have a few more cocktails this weekend before the game

We count the band and game day workers in the total attendence? I hope they don't put all of these guys, recruits, complementary, prep coaches, etc in the 'paid' attendence category.
