NBC 13 sports.

So me and one my friends were playing football in the front yard of my fraternity and I see this NBC 13 van pull up. This guy gets out of his car and says "Are any of you two Hawk fans." My response to him was, "Why would I be a Hawk fan, this is Iowa State, Iowa is two hours east of here." I was trying to pi$s the guy off because who would ask such a dumb question. He then said that he was going to do a story about Hawk fans at Iowa State. I told him that you wouldn't find any of those around here. He then said that he was going to keep looking. I just thought it was funny.

Unfortunately there are Squawk fans going to school at ISU. Proof that at least a small number of Hogeye fans care about education.

Wow...I know they exist, but still. The guy is asking for trouble driving around Ames randomly looking for Iowa fans.

If he does find someone, that person better hide their identity (do the interview in the shadows) or they'll too, be asking for it.

They do that every year. They also look for someone that goes to Iowa State with the last name Hawk. Then tease him about his last name. Kind of a funny feature I guess you would say.

If I were the kid with the last name Hawk and a reporter did this to me, I would hope the reporter could run faster than I.

If he wants to find an Iowa fan here, all he has to do is walk around campus. It's not hard to find someone wearing a Hawkeye shirt. It just really annoys me when they root against ISU (their own school).

ISU student, working an ISU football game ... wearing an iowa hat.

I hate people who wear Iowa gear on campus. My freshman year here at freshman orientation, I met a kid who was literally decked from head to toe in an Iowa hat, t-shirt, gym shorts, and tennis shoes. What do you have to prove, exactly?

I have seen alot of people with Nebraska gear on too. It pisses me off.

Right now I can envision an Intern, from the UofI, driving frantically to find a UofI fan for the story his boss wants for tonights news....
