I just saw an interview on ESPN with Ellis Hobbs in the Patriots locker room. Ellis was being asked questions regarding the cheating allegations. He was wearing the cool new Nike ISU hat with the yellow swoosh down the side and the football shapped swoosh on the back. He was wearing a cardinal colored shirt. I couldn't tell if the shirt was ISU as well but I imagine it was to match the hat.
Good to see Hobbs continues to support the Cyclones.
Hobbs almost single handedly willed ISU to wins. His leadership was amazing and overlooked, especially when looking at the lacking of that attribute on the current team.
He has always done a good job of representing ISU during his postgame interviews. I remember last year they interviewed him after he had a solid defensive game and he had an ISU shirt on.
You're right though, if only he would say he went to college at ISU during the player introductions.

I always take Ellis Hobbs in my fantasy football draft...usually in the last or second last round. But I just like to get the reaction from my fellow drafters as I say...I select Mr.Cyclone himself Ellis Hobbs!!!
Hobbs is a classy guy that I am proud to say played at ISU.
I am now going to order a Patriots Hobbs III jersey online. I love Ellis Hobbs! Now that Seattle is converting Senecca to WR I might order one of his jerseys as well...why the heck not?
I saw this too this morning... he always seems to have ISU gear on in front of his locker. Very happy to see that! And now his name is in the record books with that return on Sunday!!! Way to go Ellis!
Opposing teams thought they could pick on him (pun intended) because he was 'short', but I agree how many times did he single handedly win games for us because of his ability to jump in front and pick off passes.
Oh and I wouldn't dig on past athletes, they certainly do their part contributing. They're more loyal than most ISU grads.
