Yeah, our offense has not helped the defense at all. too many turnovers, and quick offensive posessions.

Yeah JTDoyle, the D has played decent, and had it not been for them making some plays, we would have been beat a lot worse by KSU....getting two turnovers inside our 15 yard line kept that game winnable.....

I just think these are growing pains, a new system, new coaches, new o & d lines....

i hope our boys can pull together regardless of who it is that does it, i think a win would do them a world of good.....

And us fans too!!!!

This morning Meyer was sitting on the steps of Beardshear by himself with his face in his hands. I didn't talk to him, so I don't know if he was upset about something or just tired or anything. But this rumor is the first thing I thought of when I saw it.

Probably doesn't mean much, but take it for what it's worth. Whatever happens Saturday, please don't try to chant "We want Austen" like the students did last Saturday. We don't need to disrespect Meyer like that if he continues to struggle. He's been our guy for four years. Show him some respect.

That was a good one!!!! Have him call Douglas and Bowman, they seemed to have some extra cash and now some free time on their hands.....

Next year they will be back on the field for EIU - watch!!!!

The lines have not been spectacular, but they have played well enough. Meyer has just been that bad so far....

I would say the same thing. Meyer has just been bad. I was kind of wishing they would have left AA in at least one more series to light a fire under Meyer, but that obviously didn't happen. The O-line has actually suprised me in a good way. The D-line on the other hand has been getting blown off the ball both games. I suppose I wouldn't play very well either in the latter stages of the game if I had been on the field 80% of the time.

Well.... I think Chizik will hold back from starting AA. Meyer started his freshman year at Kinnick, but what was our options. Sophmore Austin Flynn (who should of started) or freshman Meyer. Either one would of been thrown to the "wolves".

Also, this is bugging me all morning. Who was our quarterback in 2003 that got injured and couldn't play football again? I know we had Austin, Chris Love, and ???
