Wow, all these stories, I am thankful for reserve parking.
Well 2 years ago when we had reserved lot (C3) we showed up at the time the lot was to open and not only was traffic bad but we found out they had opened the lot early and it was already 1/2 full!
I'm telling you folks, if you weren't around 2 years or even 4 years ago and you think you can just pull in an hour or so after the lots open and park right away you are going to be waiting in traffic for awhile. In 2003 we were running probably 30 minutes late from the 6 hour opening time and the line to the grass lots we waited almost and hour in line and during that time the line backed clear up onto Highway 30 from Elwood.
I doubt we leave ankeny before 7:15 Brian, so I'm hoping to get there about 8:00. Here's hopin'.
Recommend you be in place before 7:30. Iowa City people are driving further and most leave about 5:00 as they are farmers and shopuld arive about 7:45 from IC.

I second this. This is the way to do it. Get off of 35 on 13th street, work your way south.
Coming from the North among UNI fans, seemed no cops for traffic control and 1/4 amount of traffic than Hiway 30. This week it should be 1/6th traffic on 13th.

Ahh, no problem. We just won't take the common ways in. Besides getting into A3/A4 B5/B6 from south 4th is pretty easy. There is not much traffic going into those lots, even for big games.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. - Benjamin Franklin 1775
