Yes, that was a very hot day. However, it was played a week earlier if I remember correctly.

I'm starting to get excited. Nothing like football in 50 degree temperatures!!

I'd like to see this trend continue. We never get to have OU and UT in Ames when it's cold. So, an early shift to true fall winter in Iowa would be great. A definite benefit to the team.

It's that first game under 50 degrees that always seems the coldest. Even compared to November games. One week it was at least in the 70s, then whammo, 48 and windy.

Global warming will lead to global cooling... (Ice caps melt, desalinates the Atlantic, screws with the ocean currents and all of a sudden warm water/air from the equator stops coming up north and warming us)

THAT aside...
It's gonna be beautiful weather for Football, heck if it stayed 33 degrees it'd be about cold enough to body paint

I would welcome the cold. today will be the first time is 78 days that the temp will be below 90. It looks like Late Oct as many trees are turning colors as we haven't had rain for almost 2 months.

Going to be a wonderous day in Ames Iowa. The cool crisp air will be filled with smell of dead animals cooking on grills, the sounds of aluminum cans clanking together, and Squawk fans crying all the way back to the trailer park.
