Re: Who Else Can We Defeat?

One game guys...we got one game yesterday. Improved? Yes. However, Iowa had not been tested yet.

As the saying goes, you're never as good/bad as you looked in your previous game.

I started the season with 5 wins. We lost 2 games that I picked us to win down to 3. We won a game that I picked us to lose - now up to 4.

I think our best chances to win are Toledo and Colorado. Maybe K-State. Outside shot at Texas Tech.

I'd be very surprised if we beat Kansas - they are playing very good football right now. Who knows though, we're their last game and the Big 12 sched. could take it's toll on them - but we go through a worse schedule.

Can we replay the UNI game?

Ball State won this week and they are next to get mortgage money form the Big Red.

Okie State looked like Okie State. What happeneed?

    And Baylor just barely won.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

I'm very anxious to see how a Chizik coached team will come out and play on the road, in what should be a winable game.

I think we'll be favored next week, although the spread should be tight either way.

Personally, I think the over/under on Ws is probably around 3.5, so getting to six is an awful stretch. But no one on our schedule has looked invincible save for the Sooners, so if we keep improving and have a lot of luck, anything is possible.

Re: Who Else Can We Defeat?

team needs to focussing on beating themselves ie not making mistakes.
after that they may win some games but its going to be too hard to say who or when.

it looks like without last years fullback we are back to the same old redzone trouble
hell 3rd down arent great either. game by game.

Re: Who Else Can We Defeat?

I think that if we can get Toledo, showing continued improvement with a 15-20 point margin, then KSU and CU are possibilities. CU looks like they have a lot of talent, but are pretty undiciplined and disorganized. If they get it together, they could be pretty tough. That would give us 4 wins, which is about what I expected for the season.

Re: Who Else Can We Defeat?

I think a couple of folks are a little optmist after an ISU win by field goals. Culbertson has been tagged (fairly and unfairly) the scape goat to many times in the past seasons to be considered a lock kicker. We are starting to see a glimpse of the teams we expected Chizik to create lets give him and his staff a little more time to build the team.
Some believe in Kicking @ss and taking names.
For now I will settle with Kicking @ss!!
