Re: ISU MBB gets Hamilton tonight...nm
Florida did fill all of it's scholarships before Iverson committed, but he did have an offer.
Should be one more left for the class of 2008.

rampton wasn't the most athletically gifted nor was he the most talented but he wasn't exactly a pile of turds in the lane either. I wouldn't consider him a total bust.

By the time he was a senor he was ripping North Carolina Tar Heals for a 20/20 performance and playing pro basketball in Europe. I will take that. What Homan entered with from day one was attitude. He didn't have the strength to really back it up like he did later in his career. I don't remember what he weighed coming in vs. leaving, but he was never a rail. When he got stronger he was able to play position better so didn't get as many silly fouls.

Re: ISU MBB gets Hamilton tonight...nm
This post is classic. People making decisions about a kid who hasn't started his SR year season in HS. Good stuff. Apparently of you guys should be college scouts;)

Re: ISU MBB gets Hamilton tonight...nm
GMAC must see some potential. I had said in a previous post that he hasn't played much varsity basketball yet. In the article that Chris Williams wrote, he said that Hamilton has only been playing basketball for 2 years. He probably goes to a big high school, so that is why he played JV last year. It is pretty amazing that he went from the JV team as a junior to the number 3 rated center in the West entering his senior year. That is probably a testament to the hard work and improvement that he has made. He will probably be a role player. I would like to see us be done and try to get some good players, like Royce White, Rodney Williams, or Trent Lockett for 09. Then finish with a great class in '10' with Dykstra and Barnes. I will trust GMAC on this one. He has an eye for identifying talent early.

God forbid the dumb-***** kid only get a 21 on his ACT's. After all, we all know that standardized testing is by far and away the single most accurate and infallible indicator of a person's intelligence...
Give me a break! As much as I enjoy this site, sometimes the sheer chutzpah of a few of the posters makes me shake my head.

I hope this guy can play Big 12 basketball.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes. -
Re: ISU MBB gets Hamilton tonight...nm
If you played Brad Dudek in a game of basketball. Brad Dudek would own you. You don't want to mess with Brad Dudek.
