Left lane drivers
I would have posted on this topic a long time ago, but I don't have a laptop or internet in my car. This message goes out to all those people who feel like they need to drive in the left lane (passing lane!) regardless of their own speed in relationship to the speed of traffic. Here we go: The left lane IS the passing lane, and either you are too f*^%$ing stupid to know that, or your life is so freaking pathetic that the only way you can get a feeling of power in this world is to hold up the flow of traffic for everyone else. So either get in the f*$&^#ing left lane, or don't give me dirty looks when I pass your dumb ***** in the right lane. Thank you, I am better now. -
Re: Left lane drivers
You meant "get in the right lane," right?
"Seven minutes to glory." -
Re: Left lane drivers
Thank You! Since I've been traveling most weekends back to Ames there have been too many of these people. What is their deal?
Many times they are out of state plates. I was behind a Colorado driver that was beyond a pain in the butt.

Another version, with details...the SmarTruck I -
Re: Left lane drivers
I dont mind those whose stay in the left lane. It allows me to work on my drafting skills...yep, thats me to inches from your bumper, brake check me and I'm going over the top of you like bigfoot.
I drive an F150 but it might as well be a Ferrari. -
Re: Left lane drivers
More than the left-lane stay drivers, I hate those drivers that get within inches of my bumper while I'm passing somebody. I'll get over once I have enough clearance to do so, and I hope you realize that it'd be your fault for the accident.

Most of the time is some woman on her cell phone, deep in conversation.
I do tailgate but not that close, ok closer than my wife would like me to.

I noticed that on the drive to and from Vegas to Iowa last year, once you got out of the midwest then the left lane turns into just a "normal" lane and doesn't get used as just a "passing lane". If you want ridiculous try driving from Vegas to L.A. on I-15 and try to navigate through the idiots going about 55 mph in the left lane...horrible. -

Re: Left lane drivers
I hate those drivers on I235 in Des Moines that know they have to take an exit, but stay in the traffic lane to pass cars on the offramp until the last possible second and then have to stop the thru traffic to merge! -

Re: Left lane drivers
They will nail you for driving in the left lane for not passing in Missouri. I was north of Kansas City back in the late 90's doing about 80 and got busted for speeding and then they nailed me also for driving in the left lane when not passing. They suck!!!
