Chizik uniforms...

With all of the talk about the look of the players on the field, I though it might be interesting to get opinions on the appearance of our head coach...

Kent State

UNI

EIU
Three different styles. Regardless of the outcomes, which look do you prefer on the sidelines?

I like the sweatshirt. It just says, "I'm here to get a job done" to me. I'd like him to cut off the sleeves, Belicheck style though. I always thought that was hilarious.

Yup, I like the sweatshirt. I never really understood why some think coaches need to dress up on the sidelines - especially that suit madness. It's football, not Dancing with the Stars!

But anyway, whatever he wants really. I do also like seeing all the coaches wearing the same thing, with the head coach in the same shirt style, just a different color. I think that's what they did for the first game, but I can't recall. I know the first image shows him in red, but I swore he had blue on when he came out for that game.

Another thing about this last weekend - based on his appearance and the pre-game speech - it seems Chizik took a slightly more laid-back approach to the Iowa game, at least on gameday. I think that helped our guys, instead of them being on pins-n-needles.

And that ends today's fashion report.

I'm pretty sure the only coaches that wear blue are the ones that signal the plays. Chizik did have a visor on for the Kent State game that he isn't wearing in that picture.

From a hotness standpoint, his Kent State outfit is clearly the best. The shirt he wore during the UNI game is too McDonaldsy. He's 1-0 with the sweatshirt so I'm down with that.

He needs to stay away from the front pleated pants! C'mon Gene, its the 21st century, invest in some flat fronts. They make his waist look wider. DOnt really care about the black either, maybe khaki, cardinal, or even gold pants.

He still looks like a winner to me though!
