Now there is a guy that I want to play football for.

I kninda want to read the article now, too.

I would have loved to seen somebody go off on Nancy Clark like that.

My favorite part was, "I'm a man! I'm 40!"...but good for Coach Gundy. It's one thing to rip on a kid that's getting in trouble, or not giving effort...it's quite another to rip on one that's giving 100% and struggling.

I love it - go after and second guess the coaches all you want (they are paid well). The media needs to get off the kids and I'm glad Gundy went off on whoever wrote the article.:notworthy:

Sticks and stones will break your bones but words will never hurt you. Yeah the article the coach is reacting to is a little edgy, but at the end the writer gives the player in question a compliment saying he's the most talented one out there.

I respect the fact the coach is defending his player, but he went overboard on this one. He just drew more attention to the article(we all know about it now.). Hey any time you get a free schooling and suit up for a major college football team, you should expect more scrutiny and yes critcism. It comes with the territory.

calling out a kid because his mom was feeding him chicken?? that seems a little silly. who cares?? this seems more like tabloid material than news.

That was kind of uncomfortable to watch, but I give him some credit for having the guts to defend his player. I haven't read the article, mind you.
