Hawk Fans Still at it

I had a Hawk fan say this to me this morning:

"Our offense came out in a four wide set against Wisconsin, which shows that they hold everything back for the conference season and play vanilla in the non-conference." I couldn't believe it.

Excuses are there antacid. It is the only way that they are able to stomach the fact that the Little 11 is a breath of fresh air after playing teams from BCS conferences.

A fan makes completely irrational excuses, in order to make his team falsely appear better?

Oh no...how could this be?

I mean, really - do we not have anything better to do than to continue listening to and entertaining whatever the Hawk fan base farts?

with the injuries in the wr/te area early in the game, they probably did some of it out of neccesity.

Jon Miller said the same exact thing on the radio today. They just can't accept that they got manhandled.

Kirk actually said that? Wow! The USC game was on in my market. I may have to send him a nice-gram. I sent him a nasty-gram after he was rambling on and on about the Big 10 during the USC/NU game...

And the Iowa threads continue. Someday I hope we can move past Iowa and focus on teams that matter to us. Teams in the Big 12. Remember, we have a huge game this weekend in Lincoln. Anyone care? Or are we still going to be talking about Iowa Saturday night?

I know it has and still does revolve around the Hawkeyes, but that's exactly what Chizik has been trying for us not to do. We need to start worrying and having our worlds revolve around winning the big 12 instead of a nonconference game.
