Let's not go back to these days!!

I was looking at some old photos of mine and thought I would post this one. I'm almost positive this is 1987 versus Oklahoma. That year OK would go undefeated in the Big 8 for the third straight year. Anyway, the photo isn't very good, but take a look at how reved up the crowd is, especially with the action on the goal line right in front of them. Well, just wanted to let everyone know how much more fun it is to be in the stadium these days. I think the fans are doing a great job and hope we keep it up!!

That is funny.. no one in the stands, and they have better things to do than watch football. I guess it puts this in perspective.

notice one of them is eve laughing prob not even paying attention to the game..

I think the best part about this photo is all the jean-jackets in the stands. Almost as trendy as the sweat-shirt tucked into the snow pants look of a certain poster. :notworthy:

So much for the "fans these days are so terrible, blah blah blah" complaints, huh?

The lost generation

I think I was at that game. It was seriously ugly. 56-3 comes to mind, but I could be off on that. And it seems to me OU was ranked way up there. Most people were in the parking lot drinking, I think.

Wow...Even my high school football games weren't that bad...

The best is the dude above the Oklahoma player. The one with his back turned to the field wearing what I'm going to guess is an Ocean Pacific t-shirt. Maybe even a Spuds McKenzie shirt. Either way, that is a great pic! Keep em coming if you have more.

Must have been the uniforms that sparked the crowd's attention.
