Virginia - Oct. 7 at East Carolina
Why? Third road game in a row and fourth in September.
2005 landmine at North Carolina, L 7-5
That landmine stood out of the crowd.
I think this 'sports reporter' will be devaSTATEd when Toledo losses on Thursday.
I wonder if he has a brother in IC?
the article was fluff and fable....

Not run into a gambler, hmmmm, I think Leach down at Texas Tech is a pretty big gambler.

After we beat Toledo, the pressure will be on Big Red to lose to La Tech for this writer to keep his percentages up this year. Perhaps our biggest landmine remains Nebraska game. That is a must. Looking confident at 8-4 with chances for 9-3 or 10-2 if everything breaks our way. We may be due thjis year after all those overtime games in years past. Those linebackers better hold up. We will need them.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.
I think you all misunderstood the purpose of the article -- it's not identifying critical, season-changing games, it's picking up those seemingly small and insignificant games that could pop out of nowhere and add another loss to the W/L column. Seriously, who thought we'd ever lose to Baylor, and beat Texas A&M at this time last year?

Shouldn't there be a question mark at the end of this sentence? I'm no English major but I did pass 4th grade.
Secondly, Bret Meyer is not a bad decision maker. He proved that with the Kansas game where he was pressured constantly because Greg Coleman did not know how to block.
They are also pretty young in the secondary. It will be tough for them to stop us if we get down around the goaline with our tall, fast, and strong recievers.
Honestly, my key to their victory would be for them to score with us and hope it comes down to a last second play. With as much anticipation there is for this season, Jack Trice will be rockin' and by answering our scores and not having much to cheer about on defense, it will be tough for the crowd to stay into it.
