ESPN...The Lou Holtz Pep Talk Feature...

I flat out love this feature. Lou loosens the tie and never fails to make me laugh as he rattles off his pep talk with that trademark lisp.

Thursday night he gave to the USF Bulls...classic line..."hippocrites are people that have sex and violence on their VCRs".

Earlier in the year he was giving one and discussing how things might seem bad but they can be much worse in real life like when "your wife leaves you and runs off with another man".

Sorry, I can't stand listening to Lou. I literally change the channel every time he starts talking.

Gotta agree with the "Lou sucks" sentiment. If you are over 30, ESPN becomes difficult to tolerate other than the scores.

I like the Pep Talk, but my second team is Notre Dame so I'm biased.

I love the pep talks. hes a great motivational speaker. He's been a touring speaker since back in his ND days. I hate his voice, but it shines during his pep talks.

My only problem with Lou Holtz is that every school he left, he left them on probation. Oh yeah- Arkansas, Minnesota, Notre Dame & South Carolina all were stuck on probation for violations by Lou Holtz. He's a CHEATER!!

I cannot stand Holtz, I cannot believe this guy was ever a coach at a big school. He is just such a moron. Maybe he is losing it in his old age.

I'd like to see Lou Holtz coach college football in today's setting.

God knows he can't be an analyst in it.

Did you see it last night. Gave a pep talk to the Florida Gators. Had a newspaper...said the front page is for those that want to read the news, the comics is for those that can't read, and the opinion page is for those that can't think. He then tore the paper into pieces and "magically" put it back together...very nice trick!

I did not watch any of the FB game but specifically tuned into half time to see the Lou's Pep Talk feature...very entertaining!
