I know this will get moved, but at least a few people will see it before it gets moved and buried inside a 300+ messages thread.

This is directed to the people who actually thought we would beat Nebraska: what were you thinking? Are you on something? Whatever it is, I want some of it.

Yes, Nebraska isn't that good. But Toledo is horrible, and they beat us. So did Kent State, and UNI. Nebraska, horrible as they are, is way better than any of those guys.

I believed we had a shot at hanging with them, and if we were lucky, to maybe eek out a win. I don't think that's going overboard though.

I honestly thought we had a good shot at it. The NU D has shown it can be scored against and I thought we could win a game in the 30's.

Excuse me sir, we SHOULD have won this game. Have you listened at ALL? We dominated everything including stupidity, and that is how it got away. We CAN win these games.

I thought we would have a chance. As you said, Toledo's not a great team, but neither is Ball State and Nebraska had trouble with them. Iowa State has made strides each week and are playing considerably well considering their situation. I've never said we're going to go to a bowl game or have a winning season, but we can play the spoiler. It's our part to stand by our team and hope for improvement each game.

You've got to believe in your team, and sometimes that turns into optimism to the point of kool-aid drinking. Last I checked the game wasn't over.

Honestly we aren't that far away from being at a level with nebraska...There were some BIG interceptions and kick off problems and yes big plays are what win games but I didn't see us as that overmatched just overfundamentaled.
