Anyway, Bret needs to start splitting a lot more time with ANYONE else... Not only is he not quite getting it done but what are we playing for at this point? Do I want to win games, sure, but I want more to figure out what we have for next year when we will be playing for something. Not that we can sit him but I'm less than impressed with Blythe's effort as well. He half-***** and one arms way too many balls. We have a QB and WR tandem that has rarely impressed me since thier sophmore years... I does sound like the team is improving in some ways and hopefully Chizik keeps kicking special teams *** all week because that part of the game is still a problem. The good news is that most of the Big 12 is far less impressive than it should be. There is no reason why we shouldn't be in every game at least as much as we were in this one.
Re: Official ISU vs Nebraska Autopsy Thread (Post-Game)
Since we do not score much, maybe they do not get enough game time experience.
I've been wondering about this as well. Does anyone know if they actually practice kick-offs and kick-off returns at full speed? I remember just going at 1/2 speed so we didn't hurt anyone in practice; is that the same in college ball?
